Justin Rose is the consummate professional and he always has been – that’s why he has been so successful for such a long period of time.

Rose, 45, works incredibly hard on every single department of his game and he really looks after his body as well.

The Englishman enjoyed a fabulous season on the PGA Tour this year, with one win, a runner-up finish at The Masters and five top-10s.

Not only is he a great golfer but he is a real class act off the course as well, and hugely popular amongst the fans.

Rose was so happy for Tommy Fleetwood after he finally won on the PGA Tour at the Tour Championship on Sunday.

The 2013 US Open champion’s reaction to Fleetwood’s success was an example of the type of person he is.

Fleetwood has admitted that he looks up to Rose, and that’s no surprise. The 12-time PGA Tour winner is a shining example for all youngsters looking to make it at the very highest level of the game.

Rose enjoyed plenty of high moments in 2025, but he endured numerous low points as well.

He missed six cuts in 18 events, and that is perhaps a sign that he’s conserving his energy and trying to peak at crucial times of the season.

In his mind though, 2025 will go down as a big success, in spite of his narrow miss at Augusta National in April, when Rory McIlroy pipped him to The Masters title in a sudden-death playoff.

The Englishman took to his X account on Tuesday night to share his feelings after the 2025 PGA Tour season came to an end.

Rose said: Are the years going by faster??? Seems so! Another season in the books. Delighted to have added to the win column. Excited to have been back at East Lake. Definitely some more fantastic memories for the rocking chair one day. But, before then, still much work to do and the never ending quest of trying to find ways to be a little bit better again next year! Thx for the support on and off the course.

Rose will be extremely pleased with the fact that he got back in the PGA Tour winner’s circle in 2025.

However, it will go down as a bittersweet year for him as well, after he came agonisingly close to winning The Masters back in April

Here are Rose’s results on the PGA Tour from the 2025 season:

As Rose has said many times recently, he won’t be as consistent now as he once was, but he knows that when he peaks, he’s more than good enough to win on the PGA Tour.

Next up for Rose is the Ryder Cup at Bethpage Black in September, and we all know how much the Englishman will be relishing the prospect of that.

When the Ryder Cup is finished, the challenge for the 45-year-old will be to work hard during the off-season and come back an even better player in 2026, if that is at all possible.

Who knows, perhaps 2026 will be his year at Augusta National. There’s probably nobody more deserving of a green jacket now than Rose himself.
