Jordan Spieth has predicted what the winning score could be when The Masters comes to an end on Sunday afternoon.
Spieth’s record at Augusta National is excellent. He won the Green Jacket in 2015 and has finished in the top five another five times.
However, the 31-year-old missed the cut in two of the last three editions, summing up his disappointing form in recent seasons.
The good news is that he’s been playing fairly well lately, finishing just outside the top 10 at the Valero Texas Open.
It still seems unlikely that Spieth will win The Masters for the second time this week, but it’s impossible to rule him out.

Jordan Spieth predicts what the winning score will be at The Masters
Spieth was asked in his press conference before The Masters what he expects the winning score to be.
The record for the lowest score at Augusta National is held by Dustin Johnson, who was 20 under par five years ago.
Spieth actually holds the joint-second-lowest score (-18), which he doesn’t think he will need to match to have “a chance” to win this week.
The American explained: “I think you stand on the 1st tee and sign for 3-under each day, and you feel like you’re walking up the 18th with a lead or with a chance.
“There’s a chance it would be a little harder this year, but a lot of it just depends on what they end up doing with pin placements and if the wind kicks up. Tomorrow is not forecasted to have much wind. Then Friday afternoon, it’s supposed to have some 20 gusts. It’s just so hard on the greens at 20 miles an hour with the speed of these greens.
“I think if you can get through the first couple rounds in a good spot, then I can answer that question a little bit better for you. The second I answer it, I may be off by 10 shots here, you know.”

Jordan Spieth says whether The Masters is his favorite tournament
With Spieth’s history at The Masters, it’s no surprise that it’s his favorite tournament on the calendar, alongside the Open Championship.
One thing he loves about Augusta is that it requires shots that “you don’t have to play” at other golf courses.
“Of course [I look forward to The Masters]. Well, it’s the first major, so you’re getting prepared for it. Then it’s also… I’ve always thought of this as my favorite tournament in the world. This and the Open Championship, to me, are my favorite tournaments.
“We show up here, and there’s just no place like it. You play shots that you don’t have to play anywhere else. You hit putts that you don’t have to hit that same way anywhere else.
“Sometimes different is really cool in the midst of seeing a lot of places… even though it’s in the same place every time, you always feel like you’re learning something new. It’s the beauty of the design of this place.”
