Jon Rahm might be one of the best golfers in the world and one of the big stars of LIV Golf but even he gets frustrated with his own performance at times.
Rahm produced a fine three rounds during LIV Riyadh as he carded five under par in consecutive rounds to put himself the mix to win.
However, while his Legion XIII team stormed to a comfortable win, Rahm couldn’t quite reel Adrian Meronk in at the top of the leaderboard as he came up two shots shy.

And after Rahm appeared furious with the greens in Riyadh, the former Masters winner has admitted he was annoyed with himself for not getting closer to Meronk.

Speaking to the media after his finished his final round over in Saudi, Rahm appeared a frustrated figure as he went through his 18 holes.
And in particular, Rahm lamented the bogeys he made on the two par fives with little in the way of pressure as he saw Adrian Meronk hold on for a maiden LIV win.
“It’s just frustrating,” Rahm said. “Every day I’ve made, I would say, two big mistakes that I think were avoidable, two very easy ones to say I bogeyed two par-5s without any penalty strokes and being in play, in a decent spot or a good spot on my third spot at least.
“If I could at least clean that up and clean up a couple very, very fixable mistakes, it would have been better. I think I played good enough to win. Obviously it just maybe wasn’t my week.
“But I could go through the rounds and tell you a couple moments a day that could have changed things.”

With Tyrrell Hatton, the emerging Caleb Surratt, new signing Tom McKibbin and the brilliant Rahm all part of the squad, Legion XIII have a big chance to dominate LIV in 2025.
In fact, so much so, that Pat Perez believes that Legion XIII could have the team title wrapped up with ease.
“I’m just tired of talking about them, because it’s the same every day, you’ve got to come up with new stuff. I want them to play bad so we can actually talk about it,” he said.
“I’ve said they’re my team for the year. I don’t think it’s even going to be close. I think it’s going to be over with a few weeks to go even.”
After such a dominant performance, it does seem like Rahm’s squad are the team to beat.
However, setting a benchmark like this and maintaining it is a different challenge in itself and Rahm will need to ensure focus is high all season.
