YouTube golf content has become a staple of any fan’s viewing experience. Bryson DeChambeau, Rick Shiels, Peter Finch, and Grant Horvat have pushed the platform to heights that many thought were impossible.
Each week, millions of golf enthusiasts tune in to the popular online platform video service to view professionals and amateurs take on each other and various unique challenges.
DeChambeau’s channel has proven to be the most popular. In 2024, the LIV Golf star collaborated with Donald Trump, Tom Brady, Tony Romo, and several other influential figures.
Horvat has also emerged as one of YouTube’s biggest stars over the past year and has played matches alongside the likes of Phil Mickelson. In fact, Horvat and Mickelson have teamed up for a new two-vs-two series that has so far seen the pair take on Dustin Johnson and Austin Johnson, as well as John Daly and his son, John Daly Jr.
Clearly, more professionals are delving into YouTube, and Jason Day believes there’s one PGA Tour player who is perfect for the platform.
Jason Day names ready-made PGA Tour YouTube star

Speaking during Good Good Golf’s latest video, Day claimed Aussie star Min Woo Lee would be “tremendous” at creating YouTube content.
“It’s kind of interesting to see how you guys [Good Good] do things. I have watched your channel for a long, long time,” Day said.
“I think Bryson is doing a tremendous job as well. I wouldn’t be surprised to see more and more guys doing this. Min Woo Lee would be tremendous at it. There are so many good personalities.”
Lee already has a significant online presence and is known for creating entertaining skits on TikTok.
LIV Golf stars are encouraged to use YouTube
DeChambeau’s YouTube boom coincided with his move to the LIV Golf League, and it’s clear those on the Saudi-backed venture are encouraged to improve their online presence.
Majesticks trio Ian Poulter, Lee Westwood and Henrik Stenson have been more active on YouTube since the turn of the year, and, of course, there is the addition of Shiels.
Shiels signed a media agreement with LIV before the start of the 2025 season and has already produced content at the first two events in Riyadh and Adelaide.
It’s apparent that those in positions of power in the 54-hole league believe building a YouTube presence is of paramount importance. Considering the platform’s upward trajectory, LIV could well be getting ahead of the curve.
