Irish Open predictions
The Golfing Gazette writers have predicted the winner of the Irish Open at The K Club this week.
Peter Lynch: He’s enjoyed a fine debut season on LIV Golf, and I think Tom McKibbin can continue that form at the Irish Open, where he should have plenty of support
Jordan Harris: Tyrrell Hatton has not had the best year on LIV Golf, but he did do enough to earn an automatic pick for the Ryder Cup team – largely thanks to his form on the DP World Tour. The Englishman will want to make a statement this week at The K Club as Luke Donald weighs up how many sessions each of his stars will play at Bethpage.
James Shearman: Marco Penge is in the form of his life on the DP World Tour and must have come under consideration for the European Ryder Cup team. With four top-10 finishes in his last six starts, he could win his third event of the 2025 season at The K Club.
