The Masters gets underway today as the world’s best golfers take to Augusta National to try and win the green jacket.
Defending champion Jon Rahm will be hoping to make it two from two as he looks to fly the flag for LIV Golf over at Augusta.
Meanwhile, the likes of Rory McIlroy and Scottie Scheffler go into the tournament expected to perform, while a number of others will hope to make a big impact as well.
Of course, any of the players involved can put it all together and produce four days of excellent golf to win. And that means that a number of names are in contention, regardless of experience.
Indeed, one man coming into the tournament with little experience is European sensation, Ludvig Aberg.
The 24-year-old was part of the Ryder Cup winning team with Europe last year and is regarded as one of the top up and coming stars in golf.
And speaking about the potential winners of this years Masters, two-time winner Nick Faldo has suggested Aberg is one to watch.

Nick Faldo tips Ludvig Aberg as one who could win The Masters 2024
Faldo, who remains Britain’s’ most decorated golfer, knows a thing or two about winning around Augusta.
And speaking to TalkSPORT this morning, the 66-year-old had some kind words to say about Ludvig Aberg ahead of The Masters.
“Aberg is pretty special and has his head screwed on. He’s very talented. It’s all brand new. He’s the rookie of all rookies, it’s his first major! He is very talented. Yes, he has got everything. He’s pretty special, we all know that. Experience is important here, he has an experienced caddie on the bag, so he will lean on him a lot,” Faldo said.
Aberg is already a PGA Tour winner having won the RSM Classic last year, while he also won the Omega European Masters in 2023 as well.
The Swedish star was in contention to win at Pebble Beach this year as well, only for bad weather to ruin the final round and hand the tournament to Wyndham Clark.
Aberg, then, could very much be in contention if he makes a fast start at Augusta.
