Bryson DeChambeau is competing in this week’s International Series India event, which is the first time the two-time US Open winner has visited the country.
DeChambeau confirmed his participation in December, and this week’s tournament at DLF Golf and Country Club is his first outing of 2025. The LIV Golf season starts on February 8 in Riyadh.
DeChambeau plans to expand the Crushers brand over the coming years, and his venture to India this week should increase interest in a country that is not synonymous with golf.
The 31-year-old’s presence will capture the attention of golf fans this week, and the same could be said about the course at DFL Golf and Country Club.
Greg Norman’s son stunned by International series venue

The 18-hole Gary Player course is one of India’s finest golfing tests, and fans have been left wowed after footage of the venue was released.
“Wow,” Greg Norman Jr wrote on X.
Another fan said: “The grounds crew put in some work there. Beautiful detail.”
“Beautiful,” wrote one fan. Another said, “WOW, WOW, I can’t wait for this weekend.”
How much it costs to play DFL Golf and Country Club
DFL Golf and Country Club is one of India’s most exclusive golf clubs. Despite this, visitors can still book tee times.
Ten nights and five rounds of golf can be purchased for around £3000 through golf travel agents, which is not disastrous considering what’s included.
Those fortunate enough to be members of DFL Golf and Country Club can purchase a lifetime membership for 20 lakh, which is around $1.7 million.
What has Bryson DeChambeau said about DFL Golf and Country Club
The course will offer a test this weekend, and DeChambeau admitted he will have to think his way around the testing set-up.
“It’s a diabolical course,” he told LIV Golf’s website. “There’s a lot going on and I think the person that’s going to do well this week has to see it for what it is, which is a strategic golf course. You have to plot your way around, be very methodical, and you can’t overpower it.
“It’s not something you can overpower, but you’ve got to be very technical about here. So, 16 through 18 is a great stretch of golf. It is gettable. If you hit the right shots into it. I feel pretty comfortable with it. Off all the rust, I think I’ll give it a good go this week.”
