The PGA Tour vs LIV Golf saga has been going on for over four years since the breakaway league was first announced.
An agreement between the two tours does not appear to be happening anytime soon, as golf fans continue to be disappointed.
The major championships remain the only events where all the best golfers compete against each other.
The PGA Tour has consistently blamed LIV Golf for the divide, but one player completely disagrees and has even called out Scottie Scheffler.

Hudson Swafford disagrees with Scottie Scheffler on PGA Tour vs LIV Golf problem
Scheffler previously told the media to ask LIV golfers instead of PGA Tour players about the ongoing problem because the solution lies with them.
Well, Hudson Swafford, who joined LIV in 2022 and is currently banned from the PGA Tour until 2027, has explained why the world number one has it all wrong.
He believes “the whole consensus of LIV players” would actually like to play on the PGA Tour if they were allowed, but the ball is not in their court.
When discussing former LIV golfer James Piot’s sponsors exemption at the Rocket Classic earlier this year, Swafford said: “I think the sponsors should be able to do whatever they want. How much money are they paying now? They are paying a ton.
“I think they should be able to do what they want, and one thing that I do disagree with Scottie Scheffler on, I have seen in a couple of PGA Tour press conferences, he said the media should go over to LIV and ask those players why the Tour is divided.
“I will be honest with you, the whole consensus of LIV players is that they would play the PGA Tour events. Whether or not they get into 15 events, I don’t know, but they would love to go and play a number of events on the Tour.
“I would love to go and play [The American Express], I would love to go and play a place I have won twice. There are a number of events I would still try and play if I were allowed.
“So they have created this narrative that the LIV guys don’t care about the PGA Tour and don’t want to be a part of it, when in all reality, everybody would go back and play a number of events on Tour, but that’s just not allowed.”

Lucas Glover’s rant about not letting LIV golfers return to PGA Tour
Some PGA Tour players, including 2009 US Open champion Lucas Glover, would not welcome a return for LIV golfers.
Glover shared that he has “poured his heart and soul” into the PGA Tour, and so it would be wrong for those who left to have the same opportunities.
“I don’t want to play with them, personally. I don’t think they should be back here. I don’t want them here,” he ranted.
“They made their decision, and I don’t blame any of them. I don’t care, but they also went away from this tour, and they chose to.
“As a PGA Tour player, and somebody who dreamed of playing on the PGA Tour, and have poured my heart and soul into this tour and game for 21 seasons now, I don’t want somebody who chose another path – a path of less resistance…
“I don’t want them back competing and taking part of my pie and these kids’ pie who are trying to make it now. I don’t want that.”
