Bryson DeChambeau was among the players to rise up the PGA Championship on day three, putting himself in real contention to lift the iconic trophy.
DeChambeau was one of eight LIV Golf players to make the cut at the 2025 PGA Championship, which was set at one-over.
The American is back on home soil at Quail Hollow, having entered the event as the LIV Golf Korea winner.
And he now finds himself with a superb chance of a third major championship win after soaring up the leaderboard in North Carolina on day three.
DeChambeau wasn’t in the PGA Championship featured groups early on, having had the same experience at The Masters.

Golf fans unhappy with Bryson DeChambeau decision at the PGA Championship
And a similar situation played out in round three at Quail Hollow, with many golf fans not happy about the lack of coverage involving the popular figure.
One unhappy golf fan wrote on X: “Bryson DeChambeau being one of the biggest draws to golf and not having coverage of him nonstop is just silly.
“He needs a featured group today and the main feed needs to check on him more etc. PGA Tour in general should be trying to siphon his viewers right now but they are terrible at everything.”
A second viewer wrote in disbelief: “PGA championship broadcast decided Bryson Dechambeau isn’t allowed on TV.”
A third commented: “Jim Nantz just went wild for Scottie [Scheffler] going 6 under then Bryson goes 6 under and he is dead silent lol,” with a fourth saying: “It’s ridiculous.”
Broadcasters should listen to Bryson DeChambeau complaints at the PGA Championship
DeChambeau is undoubtedly one of the most popular figures in the golfing world, both thanks to his ability and his personality.
Alongside his hugely successful career, he has forged a strong social media following, while his celebrations have been enjoyed by many onlookers in recent times.

Such wild celebrations were on display after he won the 2024 US Open, when he edged out PGA Tour star Rory McIlroy.
The duo had another final round battle at The Masters last month, with the Northern Irishman beating the LIV Golf icon on that occasion.
But his runs at recent major events, including the PGA Championship this week, also show he is more than capable of shining on the big stage.
That hasn’t been the case for many of his fellow players on LIV Golf, which he joined in a high-profile switch back in 2022.
Importantly, many fans clearly want to see more of the two-time major champion in action despite that defection from the PGA Tour.
And broadcasters would be wise to listen to their calls, with DeChambeau a blockbuster player more often than not.
