UK golf sensation Charley Hull has been causing quite the stir at the US Open this week and she’s caught the eye of golf fans once again.
Hull was one of the feature players of the US Open and ended up shooting a fine final round of three under par to secure a top twenty finish.
However, aside from being a great golfer, Hull’s antics on the course have been catching the eye as well.
Hull has been seen lighting up the odd cigarette while playing this weekend and it’s drawn comparisons with the legendary John Daly.
But talking about those antics and her life in general, Hull has told the golfing world she won’t be changing any time soon.
Speaking in her press conference after the final round of the US Open, Hull made some intriguing comments about her personality on and off the course.
“Literally, all my friends always say I should have a TV show with what goes on in my life. If you think I’ve got a lot of personality on the golf course, you should see what my life is like at home.
“But yeah, it’s quite funny. I’m just me. You don’t know what’s coming out my mouth next, I don’t know what’s coming out my mouth yet. It’s one of them things.
“I’m just me. It’s one of them things and I’m not going to change for the world and people either like it or lump it.”
And over on social media, it seems plenty of golf fans loved what Hull had to say.

The world of golf does have a few big personalities in the game but they are few and far between really.
The likes of Bryson DeChambeau have won praise recently for expressing themselves off and on the course, while players like Tom Kim and Rory McIlroy remain exciting to watch.
Hull, then, seems to be the latest big personality in the game and golf fans over on X have been loving it.
Another user, @hsdtgetb, also praised Hull for having the charisma as well as the golf game.

Another user also commented how golf needed more people like Hull.
While another user, @AboutGabbing, simply lauded the Brit as ‘awesome’.

It’s safe to say, then, that the Kettering native has made quite the impression of late!
