Dubai Invitational expert picks
The Golfing Gazette experts have made their predictions for the winner of the Dubai Invitational this week.
James Shearman: It’s hard to look past Rory McIlroy and Tommy Fleetwood, but I’m banking on them being a little rusty this week. Tom McKibbin is another excellent European golfer who played in South Africa a few weeks ago, so he could catch them off guard.
Peter Lynch: While Tommy Fleetwood and Rory McIlroy should prove very difficult to compete against, I think Ryan Fox can pull off an upset and make his mark early on in the season.
Jordan Harris: Tommy Fleetwood won the only edition of this event to date back in 2024, and I think he will retain his crown. It is not the longest golf course, so precision is going to be crucial. And there is no one better than the Englishman.
