The subject of LIV players ever returning to play on the PGA Tour is something that’s not going to go away for some time.

The breakaway tour has caused a huge stir in the world of golf and it seems like not a week can go by without something being mentioned from either side.

As we know, Jay Monahan and the PGA are engaged in talks with the PIF – who fully fund the LIV Tour – about a potential deal to link up wit the PGA Tour. But as yet, nothing has been set in stone and it seems like we are still some distance away from any sort of agreement.

Of course, with The Masters just around the corner, LIV players will be returning to compete with the best in the PGA field at Augusta. As we know, Jon Rahm is the defending Champion and having moved to LIV, comes back with big question marks on his head.

The press conferences before the Masters will no doubt be filled with questions around LIV.

And when asked about those LIV players returning to the PGA one day, Collin Morikawa shared his thoughts on the matter.

Collin Morikawa shares if LIV players should be allowed back to the PGA Tour

Two-time major winner Morikawa is one of the star names who has so far rejected the temptation to make the move to LIV.

And when asked by journalist Dan Rapaport about LIV players returning to the PGA, Morikawa gave his answer.

“I mean at some point maybe. I’m sure there’s consequences here and there but I think we all just want to see everyone play together, so,” Morikawa said.

Currently the LIV tour is awash with star names such as Dustin Johnson, Bryson DeChambeau and Cameron Smith, as well as the aforementioned Rahm.

In the end, a deal will eventually get done and the golfing landscape will once again look different.

For now, though, this will wrangle on and on and Morikawa won’t be the last player to be asked a question like this.
