Collin Morikawa has named the PGA Tour course he’s looking forward to most when the 2025 season starts.
Morikawa starred at the Presidents Cup as Jim Furyk’s side claimed a tenth successive win. Overall, it was a superb season for the 27-year-old after pushing Scottie Scheffler all the way to the Tour Championship.
Morikawa is now targeting wins in 2025, and there’s one course that the 2021 PGA Championship winner is really looking forward to playing again.

Speaking during a recent video with Grant Horvat, Morikawa admitted that he’s always excited when heading back to Riviera Country Club for the Genesis Invitational, one of the PGA Tour’s eight Signature Events.
“I mean, yeah, they’re all unique. I love playing at Riv in LA just because that’s where I am from, and I have friends and family, and everyone comes out,” Morikawa said.
The American, however, did accept Augusta National is hard to beat. He added: “But when it comes to how things are run, it’s hard to beat Augusta.”
Collin Morikawa must add wins in 2025
Morikawa has accepted that he must add wins to his resume, and it’s non-negotiable if he’s to be mentioned in the same sentence as Scheffler.
The 2021 Open Championship winner is arguably one of Scheffler’s closest competitors but has often been playing catch up to the world number one during the latter stages of tournaments.
Looking to gain control before the final round and put the emphasis on Scheffler must be Morikawa’s aim next season.
With four months of PGA Tour golf before the Masters, there’s ample opportunity for the 27-year-old to get back in the winners’ circle.
