Cameron Young shot right up the Travelers Championship leaderboard after a phenomenal third round of 59.
The American, who is ranked 23rd in the world, is currently 10th place on 13-under at TPC River Highlands following the feat.
Opening rounds of 72 and 66 were carded by the 27-year-old before the 11-under-par 59 in Connecticut on Saturday.
He has now become the 12th player to break 60 on the PGA Tour, and the first since Scottie Scheffler at TPC Boston in 2020.
There have now been 13 sub-60 rounds in PGA Tour history, with Jim Furyk having achieved the feat twice.

Cameron Young makes PGA Tour history at the Travelers Championship
Young is, however, out on his own when it comes to one particular area of the 13 sub-60 rounds recorded.
As per Justin Ray on X, he hit just six fairways in his round of 59, the fewest in a sub-60 round in PGA Tour history.
The key statistics from the round have now come to light, with Young hitting six of 14 fairways, 15 of 18 greens in regulation, with three of three for scrambling and 24 putts, as per the PGA Tour on X.
Scottie Scheffler bounces back from US Open at the Travelers Championship
Young fired in two eagles and seven birdies during his superb efforts on the course, with the bogey-free third round falling just shy of Furyk’s record.
The latter’s 58 at the 2016 Travelers Championship – also at TPC River Highlands – is the only 58 on the PGA Tour.
The current event has certainly been a low-scoring affair, with Tom Kim leading the way on 18-under after a third-round 65.
Following very closely behind on 17-under are Akshay Bhatia and Scheffler, with the latter keen to make amends for his US Open struggles.
The world number one finished tied for 41st place at Pinehurst number two, having admitted to struggling to see the ‘break on the greens’ in North Carolina.
Scheffler has now bounced back in terrific fashion at TPC River Highlands, claiming that his ball striking has really improved since the latest major of the year.
That certainly comes at a good time, with the fourth and final major – The Open – now rapidly approaching.
