Bryson DeChambeau is well in contention to win at Augusta National this weekend and Butch Harmon has lavished praise on the American ahead of the final two rounds.
DeChambeau carded a brilliant second round of four under par to close the gap on Justin Rose to just a single shot.
The two-time US Open winner is one of the most popular players in golf and his competing at The Masters is just what plenty in the game wanted to see.
Now with just a shot to make up on Rose and in the midst of a battle where plenty of top names in golf are in the mix, Butch Harmon has claimed that DeChambeau is well in position to win.

Why Butch Harmon thinks Bryson DeChambeau can win The Masters
Harmon was speaking on Sky Sports after round two and had plenty to say about the leaders competing at the moment.
As we know, Harmon knows a thing or two about winning at Augusta National having worked with Tiger Woods for so long.
And according to Harmon, Bryson DeChambeau could well win out due to his overall improvement.
‘You know, two-time US Open winner, he’s a much better golfer now,” Harmon admitted.
“He’s really improved his whole game, he doesn’t try and bomb it 800 yards every time he plays like a long drive guy. He’s hit more golf balls on the range than any player, maybe even five combined!”
Butch Harmon believes Shane Lowry can contend for The Masters
Of course, the top ten is stacked with some of the best players in the world and DeChambeau is just one of the many names who could reel Rose in.
However, when assessing the board, Harmon picked out Irish golfer Shane Lowry as one to watch.
“Absolutely. Since he [Lowry] won The Open I think he is a different player. I think Shane Lowry believes he belongs in the upper echelons of golfers. He is proving that now. Look where he is now,” Harmon said.
“Look at Shane, Scottie, Tyrrell. These guys are all playing well.”
Lowry is currently three back of Rose at the moment and after carding the same score as DeChambeau in round two, he’ll be more than confident of being in the mix come Sunday.
