Bryson DeChambeau has revealed one thing about LIV Golf that he loves the most ahead of the breakaway tour’s Singapore event this week.
Sentosa Golf Club will host a LIV Golf event for the second time after Talor Gooch took the title in 2023. The trip to Singapore is the second in two quickfire events before an extended break.
For DeChambeau and his team, Crushers GC, it’s been an impressive start to 2024. The American’s team currently sit at the top of the standings, having won events in Jeddah and Hong Kong.
Crushers GC finished in 8th place in Adelaide last week and will be hoping to bounce back in Singapore.
Speaking ahead of the event, DeChambeau appears to be fully on board with the team aspect of the LIV Golf product.
Bryson DeChambeau shares what he loves most about LIV Golf

LIV’s team format has added another dimension to the sport, unlike anything seen on the PGA Tour.
Of course, criticism will emerge, but, on the whole, the format has been a success. The Adelaide playoff between Ripper and Stinger was certainly engaging viewing.
Speaking ahead of Friday’s first round at Sentosa, DeChambeau has revealed the team play is his favourite part of the product.
He said [footage via Ten Golf]: “The amount of individuals that have come up and said thank you for bringing us here and being a part of this has been instrumental, and I can’t thank the fans enough for embracing the product and being a part of it.
“I love the team aspect. That’s my favourite part about it. I get to hang out with three guys every day, and no matter if you have a bad round, they’re going to pick you up.”

Adelaide must be used as a springboard for Greg Norman and Co. The Aussie leg of the tour has proven to be one of the more popular events, and last week was no different.
The crowds were engaged, the standard of golf was extremely high, and the product appeared impressive to those who were watching for the first time.
The challenge now is to repeat Adelaide’s success in some of the lesser-known venues. For the golfing world to really stand up and take notice of LIV, what happened Down Under has to become the norm on a weekly and monthly basis.
