In a bizarre twist in the golfing world, Bryson DeChambeau has revealed he’ll be releasing footage from a recent round of golf with former US president, Donald Trump.

DeChambeau has become one of the most popular players in the sport despite his move to LIV and he caused quite the stir when he won the US Open a month or so ago.

The American has also become hugely popular thanks to his content over on YouTube.

DeChambeau has played some top names on his channel from the world of YouTube but now he seems to be taking things a step further.

Announcing the news on X tonight, DeChambeau has revealed that he’ll be dropping footage of a break 50 challenge alongside Donald Trump, with money going to charity for every stroke they sit under par.

Of course, doing anything with such a polarising figure such as Trump is always going to grab headlines, not least in the run up to a US election.

However, DeChambeau has also moved to clarify things as well, insisting this is all about just golf and charity.

Bryson DeChambeau makes important point about his golf video with Donald Trump

Following up his initial tweet to clarify matters after the usual ‘trolls’ were down in the comments, DeChambeau used his platform to explain just why he was doing it.

And once again, it looks like a home-run from DeChambeau.

In fairness to DeChambeau, he has come across as genuine and sincere in all his YouTube content so far and there’s no doubt this is a big one.

For a start, Trump’s actual golf is something most golf fans in the world wonder about and after he recently challenged Joe Biden, it will be great to see how good he is.

Indeed, that was something DeChambeau himself offered to film and settle on air!

As for the conversations around the course, we might just get some absolute gold from Trump and DeChambeau as they make their way around.

DeChambeau, then, deserves huge credit for getting this sorted.
