Bryson DeChambeau heads into The Masters this year as one of the favourites.
The Masters is finally upon us, and Bryson DeChambeau arrived at Augusta National earlier this week with genuine ambition of winning his third Major Championship.
Bryson has played some really good golf on the LIV Golf Tour and in the majors over the past year or so.
He won the U.S Open in 2024 at Pinehurst, and many people are tipping him to be wearing the famous green jacket come Sunday evening at The Masters this year.

Bryson DeChambeau has shared how much he’s loving life on LIV, after rumours began to circulate that he wanted a return to the PGA Tour.
The American seems to be in a great place mentally heading into the first major of the season.
But can he really win his first green jacket this week?
Brad Faxon on what insiders told him about Bryson DeChambeau ahead of The Masters
DeChambeau’s unrivalled length off the tee will undoubtedly prove to be a big advantage for him this week.
However, he will need all parts of his game to be in tip-top condition, if he is to emerge victorious on Sunday.
Bryson is certainly grinding very hard indeed ahead of The Masters.
And Brad Faxon has offered some insight into what people who know the 31-year-old are saying about his chances.
Faxon was speaking on Sky Sports about DeChambeau’s emergence as one of the game’s great entertainers:

“In Dallas where he practices at Dallas National, Neil Lockie, the Director of Golf there, told me earlier today that in Bryson’s practice he has been in an incredibly good mood, good spirits to all the members, to all the people around there. It’s almost like he hired a PR agency to get him to be more liked. Not just by his peers but by the crowd and fanbase.
“He works on his swing constantly, continuously. He works with all kinds of devices and tools. He made big changes on Saturday afternoon of the U.S Open before the final round on Sunday. I don’t think there is a player quite like him, he has taken over from Phil Mickelson.”
What DeChambeau actually said in response to PGA Tour return rumours
The long-hitting DeChambeau hasn’t played in a fully sanctioned PGA Tour event since 2022, after he joined LIV Golf.
He seems to be more than happy with the Saudi-backed setup.
So what does he really make of the rumours suggesting that he could be pining for a return to the PGA Tour…
“I think personally for me there has been nothing but positivity from this league,“ he said.
“What we have been able to do across the globe is quite inspiring for the younger generation of golf. From a business perspective being a partner with the Crushers, my team. I am captain and have a stake holdership in the Crushers and wanting to grow this business and it’s fun. It’s something I get to do outside of the game. This game provides so much stress all the time it is fun to get outside of it and have a bit of a hobby with it to try and grow the business.
“We are pushing the boundaries to be sure. I think it has shown the PGA what potentials there are and hopefully something can get done at some point in time.“
One day it would be great to see both tours merge, but that feels like quite a long way off right now.
All that Bryson DeChambeau should be doing right now is focusing on his golf game, with The Masters set to tee off on Thursday.
And the rest will take care of itself.
