LIV Golf’s newest recruit Jon Rahm is being tipped to win this year’s Masters tournament in Augusta and retain his crown.
The Spaniard won out last year to take his first green jacket and this year he’ll return looking to do the same again.
Of course, this time around, he’ll be a member of the LIV Tour. Rahm became their latest big-money signing a few weeks ago and it’s caused quite the stir.
Rory McIlroy spoke of Rahm this past week and hinted that he couldn’t really blame the Spanish star for going, now talks are underway between LIV and the PGA over a future merger of sorts.
And with more press set to focus on Rahm’s LIV signing in the build up to the Masters in April, podcast host Lou Stagner believes Rahm is the man to watch.

John Rahm tipped to win 2024 Masters
Stagner was speaking on the Hack It Out Golf podcast alongside Greg Chalmers and Mark Crossfield.
And after Chalmers claimed Viktor Hovland is the man to beat at Augusta, Stanger believes Rahm will use the bad press as fuel to dominate the field.
“I am going to go with Jon Rahm. I think he is going to come out and go back to back. I think he has a lot to prove, I think he is going to be beyond angry with the press that is going to lead up to it,” Stanger said.
A host of big names will be hoping to win the Masters themselves and dethrone Rahm.
Rory McIlroy is desperate to add to his collection of majors and complete the grand slam, while most of Europe’s Ryder Cup winning team will fancy their chances.
2024 is set to be a massive year for Golf and if Rahm can come out on top in April, then it will feel a huge deal given his move to LIV.
Certainly, it’s an exciting time to be a golf fan right now.
