Atlanta Drive GC clinched victory over New York Golf Club in the second match of the TGL final on Tuesday.
Justin Thomas, Billy Horschel and Patrick Cantlay beat Xander Schauffele, Rickie Fowler and Cameron Young for the second consecutive night at the SoFi Center in Florida.
Atlanta were 2-0 down after the first nine holes and came back to win in large part due to Horschel’s clutch putt on the 14th.
Many fans have since demanded that United States Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley make one key decision on the back of the spectacle.

Golf fans want Billy Horschel on Keegan Bradley’s USA Ryder Cup team
Horschel did not only play well in the final matches on Monday and Tuesday but also throughout the entire TGL season.
Plus, it was more than just his golf game that impressed fans. His passion and desire to win stood out from the crowd and made him easy to root for.
Now, some people believe that his performances in TGL have proved that he should be on the US Ryder Cup team for Bethpage.
One commented on X: “I’m telling you. Get this man in the Ryder Cup. He will bring the US victory. He is America. Please.”
A TGL fan said: “Go ahead and lock Billy Horschel’s Ryder Cup spot up now. I want that passion at Bethpage.”
“Screw it. Pair Billy Ho and Keegan together at Bethpage and watch the world explode,” another. “Get Billy in a Ryder cup team! He’d just be great to watch,” one added.
“So damn happy for [Horschel]. Of all the people in TGL to get this stage and thrive on it, thrilled for him. That was pretty sick.”
What Billy Horschel said immediately after clutch putt in TGL final
Horschel spoke about his match-winning putt shortly after he had finished celebrating and before the final hole between Cantlay and Cameron Young.
He told TGL: “I hit the spot, it looked good, and two feet out, I knew it was in the hole, and I blacked out. I think i said some expletives. I think I said something about this being my house.
“It was a lot of fun. I’m loving this, man. This is awesome. We’ve got a one-point lead with one hole to go. This is fun. This is absolutely exciting.”
Horschel clearly enjoyed the team competition and one can only assume that he would thrive in the Ryder Cup format too.
