Ludvig Aberg is right in the mix to win the BMW Championship this weekend after another under par round at Castle Pines.

In tricky conditions at altitude and with the wind playing its part as well, Aberg managed the course well to get round at one under par.

That was enough to create a three shot swing from overnight leader Adam Scott, who shot two over par to drop back into second, behind Keegan Bradley and just a shot ahead of Aberg and fellow Swede, Alex Noren.

Of course, Aberg has been the talk of the BMW after his stunning 400+ yard 3-wood on the opening day.

And after Aberg was previously compared to Scottie Scheffler for his mentality, Adam Scott has now sung the praises of the Swedish star as well.

Adam Scott delivers his verdict on Ludvig Aberg after round three of the BMW Championship

Speaking to the press about Aberg and what he sees in him, Scott admitted that he’s seriously impressed by everything about the Swede’s game.

“I’ve played with him twice or three times, I think. It’s pretty impressive. Every area looks pretty good.

“I know he’s been a bit quiet the last couple months maybe, but now we’re getting critical of a guy who’s been on tour for a year and he’s 6 in the world or something, is he?,” Scott said.

“It looks awesome, and I like his demeanour a lot. I think he’s really calm and seems to have everything under control from the outside anyway.”

Aberg can win it all on Sunday

There is absolutely no doubt that Ludvig Aberg is one of the emerging stars in the world of golf and winning at the BMW would just prove it further.

The Swedish sensation has burst into life over the last 12 months and after he was brilliant for Europe in the Ryder Cup in Rome, he’s adapted to PGA Tour life with ease.

Aberg will win majors down the line, it’s just a case of when.

As Adam Scott says here, there doesn’t appear to be a weak area to his game and over time, that will set him up nicely to win.
