When speaking on his official Instagram account, Min Woo shared how amateurs can improve their chipping simply by practicing with a purpose.
He said: “This is into the grain. One thing about chipping into the grain, I think you need a lot of feel.
“If I want to spice it up a bit and get a bit of extra feel, I put it in the back of my stance, move it a bit closer to myself and let it roll out.
“Then, this is the hard bit where you want to play a higher shot, but you’re into the grain, so you want to catch the ball first.
“Tip of the day. When you go out there, don’t just chip balls, you want to have a bit of a purpose.
“You can experiment so, really low, really high, medium, and you just develop that feel over time and then when you’re out there on the course you know you can play all those three shots.”
