Justin Thomas enjoyed a fantastic resurgence on the PGA Tour in 2025, securing his first win since the 2022 PGA Championship.
Thomas is excited for the future PGA Tour players ahead of the new season, although he will currently be enjoying his downtime after a busy period.
He played in 21 PGA Tour events in 2025, from which the American claimed his 16th career win at the RBC Heritage.
Thomas also secured three runner-up finishes and eight top 10s, missing just two cuts throughout the season.
The two-time major champion also took on the Ryder Cup last month, although he failed to prevent the USA from losing to Europe at Bethpage Black.

Justin Thomas has a favorite drill for improving chipping around the green
But helping Thomas return to winning ways on the PGA Tour was his prowess around the greens, for which he has a favorite drill to help improve.
Sharing how he hits the same shot three times; high, medium and low, he told Titleist earlier this year: “To me chipping is not supposed to be technical.
“I think whether you are looking at a member at your golf course or a professional on TV, when you see the person who looks like a robot over it and you can tell they are thinking about a million things, they are generally not a great chipper.
“So I think that this part of the game needs to bring out that artistic side and just reacting. I love going around with three balls and just trying not to hit the same chip multiple times.
“There are going to be times where I’m focusing on my contact or whatever it is, but for the most part how I feel I have developed my short game is just going around the green and just hitting as many different chips as I can and being creative. That’s how I feel like I have gotten more comfortable around the greens.”
How did Justin Thomas perform around the green on the PGA Tour in 2025?
Thomas can be really satisfied with his PGA Tour efforts, and indeed his display at Bethpage Black last month.
He scored two points from his four matches under captain Keegan Bradley, ending his week on home soil with a 2-2-0 record.
Thomas admirably dealt with the hostile crowd as well as part of his impressive efforts in New York, where the USA fell to a very disappointing defeat.

Thomas ranked joint-first with world number one Scottie Scheffler in the former, and top of the pile ahead of him in the latter.
