The Copperhead Course at Innisbrook Golf Resort is the venue for the annual Valspar Championship.
It’s ranked the seventh-most difficult course on the PGA Tour calendar, which is a key reason why the event is popular among top players.
Indeed, the final three holes, known as the ‘Snake Pit’, are up there with the most challenging stretches of golf in the world.
But it’s not just Tour players who have the opportunity to test themselves at the Copperhead Course, as The Golfing Gazette shares how much it costs to play there and other key information.

Courses at Innisbrook Golf Resort
There are three 18-hole courses (Copperhead, Island and South) and one nine-hole course (North) at Innisbrook Golf Resort.
The Copperhead Course, where the Valspar Championship takes place, is probably the pick of the bunch. It’s 7,352 yards with a par score of 71.
The par 72, 7,194-yard Island Course is equally as challenging as the Copperhead. It’s hosted US Open qualifiers and NCAA Championships in the past.
How much does it cost to play at Innisbrook Golf Resort?
Innisbrook Golf Resort’s courses are not public so there are only two options to play there: stay at the resort or become a member.
By far the easiest way is to book the Full Swing Golf Package, which includes one round at the Island or South Course per golfer, per night. Upgrades are available to the Copperhead Course.

The minimum length of stay is two nights and the price includes unlimited use of the practice facilities and fitness center, as well as club storage and the cart fee.
The package costs between $500 and $1500 per room (for two adults) depending on the time of year and choice of room (deluxe, suite or premier suite).
Membership at Innisbrook Golf Resort
The other way to play at the Copperhead, or any of the other courses, at Innisbrook Golf Resort is through membership.
There are three membership options: full golf membership, resort golf membership and executive golf membership. Each offers unlimited play on all of the courses.
The initiation fees range between $17,500 and $45,000 depending on the package, with discounts of up to $5,000 if you sign up during the Valspar Championship.
