Anyone who has watched the Irish Open this week will probably have been impressed by the golf course on display.

The tournament rotates venues annually, and on this occasion, The K Club in County Kildare was selected.

It’s an amazing golf club that the world’s best players enjoy, but amateur golfers can also test themselves on the same course.

The Golfing Gazette has all the important information about the 2025 Irish Open host, including green fees and membership details.

Golf courses at The K Club

There are two 18-hole parkland golf courses at The K Club: Palmer North and Palmer South. Both were designed by and named after legendary golfer Arnold Palmer.

Palmer North is a 7,441-yard-long par 72 for the players in the Irish Open field. 2011 Open champion Darren Clarke holds the course record (60).

The par-72 Palmer South is slightly easier than the North course, but it has still hosted DP World Tour events in the past.

How much does it cost to play at The K Club?

The Palmer North costs a lot more than the Palmer South, but both green fees are cheaper than those at most PGA or DP World Tour courses.

The K Club also offers significantly cheaper rates to guests staying at the on-site hotel.
