The 2025 Ryder Cup is being held at the famous Bethpage Black golf course in New York.
Bethpage Black is widely regarded as one of the most difficult courses in the United States, which is why it has held the US Open multiple times.
However, the American team decided to make the course much easier for the players during the Ryder Cup this week.
For anyone interested in playing at the Ryder Cup venue, The Golfing Gazette has all the important information.

Golf courses at Bethpage
There are five 18-hole golf courses at Bethpage State Park: Yellow, Green, Blue, Red, and Black (in increasing order of difficulty).
Bethpage Black is the most difficult, with a sign by the first tee box that reads: “WARNING. The Black Course Is An Extremely Difficult Course Which We Recommend Only For Highly Skilled Golfers.”
The Black Course, designed by famous American architect A. W. Tillinghast, is a 7,486-yard-long par 71 for the Ryder Cup.
How much does it cost to play at Bethpage Black?
Bethpage Black is a public golf course, so amateur golfers from New York and beyond can book tee times to play there.
The course offers cheaper rates to players from New York State, but the green fees are still affordable for everyone else.
| New York State residents | Out of state | |
| Weekdays (Twilight) | $70 ($44) | $140 ($88) |
| Weekends (Twilight) | $80 ($50) | $160 ($100) |
It costs non-New York residents $140 to play Bethpage Black on weekdays and $160 on weekends. Twilight rates are also available.

Membership at Bethpage
The golf courses at Bethpage State Park are open to the public, rather than a private club, so membership options are not available.
The Black Course is extremely popular, and that is unlikely to change after the Ryder Cup, so do not expect to play there too regularly.
