Everything you need to know about the Grant Thornton Invitational 2024
Grant Thornton Invitational dates
The Grant Thornton Invitational gets underway on Friday, December 13, 2024, and the final round is on Sunday, December 15, 2024. It’s the only PGA Tour and LPGA Tour event this week.
What is the Grant Thornton Invitational format?
Round 1 | Scramble
Both players tee off and then the pair chooses which ball to use for the next stroke. Both players hit their next shot from that spot. This continues until the ball is in the hole.
Round 2 – Foursomes
Players take turns hitting shots with the same ball until the hole is completed. One player tees off on odd-numbered holes and the other tees off on even-numbered holes.
Round 3 – Modified Four-Ball
Both players hit tee shots and then switch balls from the second shot onwards. The lower score of the pair counts towards the team score each hole.
