Bryson DeChambeau certainly didn’t have his dream final round at The Masters, with his three-over par placing him T5 in the leaderboard.

DeChambeau headed into the fourth round of The Masters at Augusta National just two shots off the lead, with Rory McIlroy having led the way.

McIlroy was backed to win The Masters, with the Northern Irishman having taken on the major championship for the 17th time.

DeChambeau meanwhile was appearing at Augusta for the ninth time in his career, with T6 in 2024 having represented his best finish heading into this week.

The LIV Golf star was paired with PGA Tour icon McIlroy for the final round in Georgia, where the leaderboard was constantly changing.

Bryson DeChambeau deserves huge praise for Augusta fan interaction

DeChambeau is likely to come in for criticism for his final round at The Masters, where he blew a great chance to clinch further success.

But his fantastic and very likeable personality was on show throughout the week, from interacting with adoring Augusta patrons to hitting hundreds and hundreds of balls on the practice range.

And he now deserves huge praise for his putting antics with a lucky group of fans, who simply will not forget the evening they enjoyed with the reigning US Open champion.

He clearly goes out of his way to please fans, having undoubtedly lost a few with his switch from the PGA Tour to LIV Golf back in 2022.

There truly is no player quite like DeChambeau in world golf, who has also impressively managed to forge a huge social media following thanks to his creative ideas.

And golf definitely needs such characters to attract even more fans now more than ever, with DeChambeau the epitome of ‘box-office’.
