As good as Scottie Scheffler is, he is hardly the most captivating character out on the golf course.
The same can be said for other high-profile players like Cam Young, Collin Morikawa, Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick.
Gone are the days when the PGA Tour was littered with characters, including the likes of John Daly, Tiger Woods and more recently Jordan Spieth and Tyrrell Hatton.
Leaderboards these days seems to be dominated by more robotic characters.

Obviously the most important thing for the PGA Tour is to have the very best golfers on the planet among their ranks.
However, there is nothing wrong with a bit of controversy mixed in with world-class golf, and there is nobody better at providing that than Wyndham Clark.
