Bryson DeChambeau’s future with LIV Golf is completely up in the air right now.
DeChambeau is the biggest star on LIV Golf, and he is absolutely vital to the long-term viability of the league.
His LIV Golf future was recently plunged into doubt, though, when Patrick Reed and Brooks Koepka left earlier this year.

Does LIV make professional golf in general better or worse?
DeChambeau was offered the chance to return to the PGA Tour back in January alongside Jon Rahm and Cam Smith, when Brooks Koepka had his membership reinstated as part of the newly created ‘Returning Member Program’.
However, the two-time U.S. Open champion chose to stay with LIV Golf.
Now, though, with recent rumors suggesting that the LIV Golf league could fold, DeChambeau’s future is very much up in the air.
So, what does the future hold for Bryson DeChambeau?
Bryson DeChambeau could do the unthinkable if LIV Golf folds
If LIV Golf does indeed cease to exist, or even if DeChambeau decides not to renew his contract, he may well pursue an interesting career path.
DeChambeau earned a 10-year exemption at the U.S. Open after winning at Pinehurst in 2024, so he’s all set there until 2034.
Due to his U.S. Open victory, he is exempt in all of the other three majors through 2029.
So in essence, he has until 2029 to win another major if he is to stretch his exempt status for a longer period of time.

So he definitely could just focus on creating content for his YouTube channel for the next few years at the very least, if he really wanted to.
The thing is, the 32-year-old has seemingly been far happier creating content than playing golf competitively over the past year or so.
It’s not just a question of whether or not LIV Golf will cease to exist moving forward.
It is also unclear as to whether DeChambeau will commit his future to the league anytime soon, with his current contract set to expire at the end of 2026.

There is serious money in YouTube content creation nowadays and with DeChambeau’s following, he will be capable of earning huge amounts on the platform.
Bryson DeChambeau is unquestionably the master of his own destiny, and that is a very strong position to be in.
Perhaps he could just focus on the world of content creation moving forward.
The PGA Tour will happily take him back because of his huge pulling power. However, he has never been the most popular of players amongst his peers.
And it could be argued that playing on the PGA Tour once again wouldn’t completely fulfill DeChambeau.
However, the 32-year-old is a very complicated character, so only he will know where his priorities really lie.
