I defy anyone not to be completely inspired by Anthony Kim coming from five shots back heading into the final round of LIV Golf Adelaide before going on to secure his first professional win in nearly 16 years.
It was a truly stunning performance from Anthony Kim at LIV Golf Adelaide. Kim was understandably emotional after his victory at The Grange, having produced such an incredible turnaround in his life.
Who is the biggest winner if Tiger Woods never existed?
The 40-year-old was relegated from LIV last season. He only earned his place back in the league in January after finishing third at the Promotions Event.
But Kim was able to take advantage of Jon Rahm and Bryson DeChambeau struggling on Sunday to secure his first win since 2010.
And his performance should not have escaped the attention of those at Augusta National.
Anthony Kim has done enough to earn a Masters invite
Those who run The Masters have been prepared to reward those who impress on LIV. Joaquin Niemann has received special invites in each of the last two years.
There is arguably no-one on LIV who is more deserving of a Masters invite for this year’s event than Kim after a comeback that will help change the lives of so many.

His average finishing position during the 2024 LIV season was 47.5. There was a slight improvement in 2025 – though he was still unable to automatically retain his place in the league.
But something appears to have clicked since the end of last season. Kim finished in the top five at the PIF Saudi International. And he has now won for the first time since the Shell Houston Open in 2010.
With that, Kim surely deserves an invite to the first major of the year for the first time in 15 years.
How Anthony Kim made Augusta National history at the 2009 Masters
Kim has played The Masters on three occasions in the past. The high point was unquestionably in 2010 when he finished third, four shots behind Phil Mickelson.
But he made history at The Masters the previous year.
Should Anthony Kim be invited to play in The Masters in April?
The LIV star finished third at Augusta National back in 2010!
Kim broke the record for the most birdies in a single round at the event during the second round in 2009. In all, he made 11 birdies in a round of 65. It was an improvement of 10 shots from his performance on Thursday.
That bodes well if he gets the opportunity to play at The Masters again in April.
Following his win on Sunday, it would be a truly awful decision to keep him away.
