It remains to be seen if Bryson DeChambeau is serious about the idea of only playing YouTube golf outside of the majors.
Bryson DeChambeau is yet to confirm what his future holds. His contract with LIV Golf expires at the end of the season, and it is not yet clear how the league will look after this season.
Some are obviously hoping that DeChambeau will return to the PGA Tour. However, there are likely to be hurdles to clear, judging by the terms Brooks Koepka agreed to before his comeback this year.
With that, DeChambeau has left the door open to the idea of focusing on his YouTube channel full-time while also playing in the four majors each year.
Bryson DeChambeau remains undecided on his future
It would be a fanciful plan for anyone other than the two-time US Open champion, but DeChambeau loves to go where no other golfer has gone before.
And perhaps he has just been given yet another reason to seriously consider playing YouTube golf in the future.
It was announced this week that Good Good star Brad Dalke has received a sponsor’s invite to the Rocket Classic. He will also be in the field for the Good Good Championship later this year.

It is an incredibly smart move from those involved. The Rocket Classic is the penultimate event before the FedEx Cup playoffs begin. It is likely to attract a much weaker field than a signature event would.
Dalke will have a tough job on his hands to make the cut. But there will be plenty of followers of YouTube golf who make sure to watch the event simply to see how he gets on.
Smart move inviting a YouTube golfer to a PGA Tour
Dalke has played in both The Masters and the US Open before. But it is nearly a decade since his most recent start at the highest level.
The PGA Tour is clearly looking to lean into the popularity of YouTube golf a lot more. And if you sponsor a full-field event, you are going to want the biggest names possible involved.
So if DeChambeau does decide to focus on YouTube and has served any suspensions from the PGA Tour, then surely he can expect a number of invites further down the line.
That would potentially offer him another route back towards the top of the game. So it would remove some of the risk should he surprise many and decide to concentrate on YouTube after this season.
