Bryson DeChambeau suffered a complete nightmare at the PGA Championship, missing the cut by some margin at Aronimink.
DeChambeau carded rounds of 76 and 71 to end his first two days of the tournament on seven-over, well above the four-over cut line.
It was a disastrous run from the LIV Golf superstar from start to finish, with the American certain to be left scratching his head after his brief venture at the PGA Championship.
The disappointing result at Aronimink continues a truly extraordinary major run from DeChambeau, who is a two-time major champion.
If he is, where does Bryson rank?

Bryson DeChambeau’s extraordinary major run after PGA Championship missed cut
Most recently, DeChambeau missed the cut at The Masters last month, ending his two days at Augusta National on six-over.
In 2025, he also missed the cut at the US Open, but managed to produce hugely impressive performances elsewhere.
He finished T5 at The Masters, T2 at the PGA Championship and T10 at The Open Championship, having also experienced a roller-coaster 2024 major season.
Two years ago, DeChambeau superbly won the US Open, finished second at the PGA Championship and T6 at The Masters, as well as missing the cut at The Open.
In summary, his last 10 results at major championships now bizarrely comprise one win, six top 10s and four missed cuts.
| Tournament | 2024 | 2025 | 2026 |
| The Masters | T6 | T5 | CUT |
| PGA Championship | 2 | T2 | CUT |
| US Open | 1 | CUT | – |

What does the future hold for Bryson DeChambeau?
Aronimink has certainly produced a tough test for many top players so far, both across the PGA Tour and LIV Golf.
But a handful of players have been able to step up in Pennsylvania, with joint-leaders Alex Smalley and Maverick McNealy impressively climbing to four-under at the halfway stage.
In stark contrast, DeChambeau and several other high-profile names really struggled at the second major of 2026.
Also missing the cut at Aronimink were Tommy Fleetwood, Robert MacIntyre, Tyrrell Hatton, J.J. Spaun, Russell Henley, Viktor Hovland and Keegan Bradley among other notable figures.
Do you think Bryson DeChambeau can compete for majors not playing on the PGA Tour?
With the future of LIV Golf increasingly uncertain, it remains to be seen what the future holds for DeChambeau, arguably its biggest star.
He does, however, seemingly have a fallback in the form of his YouTube and social media content, which he may fully focus on given LIV Golf’s concerns and indeed his own concerns on the biggest stage.
During his very tough time at Aronimink, he carded five birdies, 21 pars, eight bogeys and two double bogeys.
