Scottie Scheffler is yet to be seen on the PGA Tour in 2025 but it looks like it won’t be long until we see the world number one in action.

Scheffler has been out of action after suffering an injury over the festive period that kept him out of The Sentry, while he also withdrew from The American Express this past week.

Indeed, there were concerns over Scheffler’s sustained absence this weekend at The AMEX as some suspected the injury might be worse than first thought.

However, with the Farmers Insurance Open this coming weekend and the AT&T at Pebble Beach – Scheffler’s next scheduled event – in two weeks’ time, it looks like we could be about to see Scheffler back on the fairways.

Scottie Scheffler spotted back training ahead of PGA Tour return

We are yet to see Scheffler hitting any balls but amid worries over his injury being more serious, it looks like Scheffler is preparing to make his comeback.

In a clip shared on social media by The Athletic’s Gabby Herzig, Scheffler can be seen putting the work in back in the gym in what would suggest he is getting ready for Pebble Beach.

How many wins Scottie Scheffler could get in 2025

With Scheffler having already missed two of his scheduled events, the chances of him beating last year’s tally are now a touch slimmer.

However, he is still the world number one for a reason and there is every chance that his return to the field coincides with him getting his first win of the season.

Still, while Scheffler is the top man right now, Peter Finch believes Scheffler will win slightly less due to others being forced to improve.

“I reckon he’ll do eight this year,” Finch said on The Rough Cut Golf Podcast. “It always happens when people come out and play such amazing golf, it raises everyone else’s game.

“Unlike Tiger, when Tiger came out and he was such a dominating force, there was such a bigger gap between Tiger and everyone else, physically, mentally, technically. He was by far a different animal.”

With big name withdrawals like Collin Morikawa and Xander Schauffele from the Farmers this week, the PGA Tour needs Scheffler back ASAP.
