Scottie Scheffler and Xander Schauffele are both aiming to end their superb seasons on a high at the Tour Championship.

Schauffele says the course favours Scheffler at the Tour Championship, which is being played at East Lake in Atlanta.

Scheffler leads the way after three rounds on 26 under, having started the tournament in first on 10 under.

Schauffele meanwhile has fallen to fourth place on 16 under, having started the first round just two shots behind Scheffler on eight under.

It is now all to play for in the final round, where the world number will be partnered with second-placed Collin Morikawa.

Even with his 10-shot deficit, Schauffele is seemingly not giving up on another title in 2024, while Scheffler is doing his utmost to remain in first place.

As per the PGA Tour on X, the American pair were the final two on the range heading into the last day of the Tour Championship.

The PGA Tour is now drawing to a conclusion at the Tour Championship, in what is the third and final FedExCup Playoff event.

Both players are looking for their first FedExCup title, but regardless of who comes out on top, they can be extremely proud of their seasons.

Rory McIlroy feels a ‘distant third’ to Scheffler and Schauffele, who between them have dominated the PGA Tour in 2024.

World number one Scheffler boasts six titles, having also clinched the gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics.

Schauffele meanwhile has two wins to his name in 2024, with the world number two winning the PGA Championship and The Open.
