Sergio Garcia has named his three favourite partners from his Ryder Cup career.
Sergio Garcia is the most prolific points scorer in Ryder Cup history, with the Spaniard winning 28.5 points during his illustrious career.
The 2017 Masters champion has actually only ever failed to win at least two points at just one Ryder Cup. Meanwhile, he claimed 9.5 out of a possible 10 points across the emphatic European victories of 2004 and 2006 at Oakland Hills and The K Club respectively.
Sergio Garcia names his favourite Ryder Cup partners
So it is hardly surprising that he has been involved in a number of amazing partnerships along the way.

And speaking on The Rick Shiels Golf Show, the Spaniard was asked to name his favourite three from across his 10 appearances in the competition.
“I would say Jesper [Parnevik]. It’s difficult to pick three. Luke Donald, we had a great partnership, we were unbelievable at foursomes. And then I would have to say Lee [Westwood], we had great partnerships,” he said.
The list could have been even longer
You can definitely understand Garcia’s choices. Garcia and Jesper Parnevik went unbeaten together in their four matches at Brookline in 1999.
Meanwhile, Garcia played with no-one more often than he did with Lee Westwood, with the pair teaming up seven times between 2002 and 2008, winning five points along the way.
And it was Garcia and Luke Donald who played their part in sparking the Miracle at Medinah, winning their Saturday afternoon four-ball match against Tiger Woods and Steve Stricker. Of course, they were followed in by that Ian Poulter performance that day.
But they are not the only options Garcia could have opted for. He played brilliantly alongside Jose Maria Olazabal during the 2006 Ryder Cup.
And it is frightening to think of what the score would have been had Garcia and Jon Rahm not played so well together in 2021. The pair won all three of their matches together.
