The Memorial Tournament has now returned, with Muirfield Village Golf Club hosting the next PGA Tour event.
The usual suspects will all be more than up for lifting the trophy in Dublin, Ohio, as they look to hit form at the right time.
The US Open is fast approaching, with the likes of Scottie Scheffler, Jordan Spieth and Xander Schauffele among those taking on the Memorial this week.
As always, a tricky task is in store for those taking part, although Rory McIlroy is already looking comfortable.
New footage has emerged of the Northern Irishman’s practice round at Muirfield, and it’s safe to say he is coping well.
Viktor Hovland issues Memorial warning to fellow golfers
But one player who knows the tournament well has now provided a major warning to his fellow professionals.
Viktor Hovland may be the defending champion at the Memorial, but he is well aware that previous success at Muirfield means very little, if nothing at all.
“This golf course doesn’t care about your memories or good vibes, it’s going to punish you and bring you down if you miss it on the wrong sides,” Hovland said in his pre-tournament press conference.
“I think it’s one of the hardest courses we play all year, so you definitely have to bring your A-game, whether you’re defending champion or not.”

Hovland has fond memories of the Memorial, but he certainly doesn’t have fond memories of his start to 2024.
The Norwegian struggled in various competitions at the start of the year, but importantly has bounced back, and in impressive fashion.
Following a reunion with swing coach Joe Mayo, Hovland may just be back to his top levels, clinching a superb solo third finish at the PGA Championship.
A missed cut at The Masters was a huge blow, but the 26-year-old has settled himself once more with recent good form, with more confidence set to come from his dramatic play-off win at the Memorial in 2023.
