As we get towards the end of the 2025 season, it looks like LIV Golf are ready to shake things up again as they look to add new players to their ranks.
After the initial splash on big names like Bryson DeChambeau and Phil Mickelson, LIV have continued to add golfers to their ranks, albeit Jon Rahm is the only name since then really that has jumped off the page.
With contracts ending on LIV and certain teams looking to refresh things, it’s only natural that talk of new additions is rife.

Indeed, according to a report from Golf Digest, we could be seeing two very recent PGA Tour winners become the latest players to jump ship.

LIV Golf in talks to sign two more PGA Tour winners
According to the report, LIV Golf are looking to bring in fresh faces for their 2026 season and once again, they are looking at the PGA Tour.
It’s stated that two players who have won recently on the PGA Tour are already in discussions with LIV about a move, while it’s also claimed that a few players nearer the end of their careers are looking to see if a final payday might be on offer.
Quite who the players LIV Golf are looking at is unknown at this stage.
However, the mention of them being recent winners suggests that they are high profile enough names to turn heads.
Still, it must be stated that the two players are not major winners and as the report says, not in the same stratosphere as a Jon Rahm, for example.
Nevertheless, it once again shows that LIV remains a proposition for PGA Tour players. And depending who it is, it might yet cause another tidal wave effect of others making the move.
The PGA Tour players who could join LIV Golf
Obviously, we are going to be ruling out huge names here like Scottie Scheffler, Xander Schauffele and Rory McIlroy.
Indeed, given the nature of the suggestions, one would also assume players like Collin Morikawa and Justin Thomas are out of the picture as well.
However, that does also leave a bunch of golfers as potential signings. Quite how far back we go when it comes to ‘recent winners’ is open to interpretation.
But names like Kurt Kitayama, Ryan Fox, and even a young stud like Aldrich Potgieter are names to consider.
Beyond those – in terms of players not quite in the megastar category – golfers like Brian Harman, Brian Campbell and Ryan Gerard – who won the Barracuda in July – are all worthy suggestions.
For now, things appear to be under wraps but soon enough, we’ll know just who’s jumped ship and kicked off the same old conversations about the state of modern golf as we’ve had before.
