Wyndham Clark is the first PGA Tour player to come out and say that he isn’t entirely happy with Brooks Koepka’s return.

Koepka caused a major stir in the world of professional golf when he left LIV in December 2025.

And then just two weeks later, Koepka was reinstalled as a PGA Tour player after Brian Rolapp created the ‘returning member program’.

The 35-year-old spent three years with LIV Golf before deciding enough was enough.

The 2023 US Open champion never minces his words.

With that in mind, Clark is probably the best person to be asked about the current Koepka situation.

When speaking to SiriusXM PGA TOUR Radio, Clark admitted that he would have liked to see more repercussions for Koepka before he was handed back his PGA Tour status.

Gosh, I’m so torn, Clark admitted.

I mean, I personally really like Brooks.

Um, you know, I think it’s ultimately really good for the PGA Tour.

But also, you know, a guy that had an opportunity to go to LIV, it’s kind of frustrating that, you know, he’s able to get the cake and also eat it.

So, I don’t know, I’m very torn because at the end of the day, I want whatever’s best for the PGA Tour. And I think if guys come back, especially top players like Brooks, it’s only going to help the Tour, which is ultimately going to help me.

So, yeah, I mean, I don’t know really how I feel.

I wish maybe there were a few more repercussions, but, you know, I’m glad the things they said are in place, I think they are pretty decent and I also like the hard deadline.

I think that’s good. I just hope they stick with that and they don’t waver on that maybe in like a year or two.

Brooks Koepka’s PGA Tour return under the microscope

The outcome of the Koepka situation is probably the fairest for all parties concerned.

It cannot be understated just how much money he will be giving up, if he does indeed play well when he returns to the PGA Tour.

He is also not eligible for the signature events and will have to earn his way into them.

There will undoubtedly be numerous players who are not happy at all that Koepka has been allowed to return to the PGA Tour after his three-year stint with LIV.

It will now be really interesting to see whether any other LIV players follow Koepka’s lead.

Wyndham Clark outlined why he is completely torn by the PGA Tour’s Brooks Koepka decision.

And there will undoubtedly be many more PGA Tour players in the same boat as Clark right now.
