Tommy Fleetwood has spoken about Dustin Johnson ahead of the Dubai Desert Classic this week.
The LIV golfer is making his debut at the tournament, having rarely played on the DP World Tour throughout his career.
Johnson has only played once on the tour in the last three seasons – last year’s Alfred Dunhill Links Championship.
Fleetwood revealed what his relationship with the former world number one is like and whether he’s pleased to see him in the field.

Tommy Fleetwood comments on Dustin Johnson before Dubai Desert Classic
Tommy Fleetwood admitted that it is “great” to catch up with some of the LIV golfers at DP World Tour events.
Johnson is not normally among those, but he has decided to participate in the Dubai Desert Classic this week.
Fleetwood is looking forward to speaking to Johnson at the Emirates Golf Club, as they have always gotten on well.
“I think, for sure, there are players who play on the LIV Tour that add to tournaments for sure,” Fleetwood said. “Personally, it’s great to see some of the guys.
“Like Dustin, I’m close with Dustin or a few of the guys. It’s always nice to see them at the tournaments.
“Yeah, golf is a global game and I think it’s always nice to see some of those faces, whether they are familiar faces or faces that have been at the top of the game playing the tournaments.”

Tommy Fleetwood never had ‘bad blood’ for LIV golfers
Tommy Fleetwood’s next answer about LIV Golf summed up why he is one of the most popular players in the world.
Fleetwood tends to avoid taking sides on controversial topics, focusing on what he can control.
He explained that he has never had any animosity towards the players who left the PGA Tour for LIV Golf.
“Yeah, it was interesting,” the Englishman added. “I look back at it, I was never one of those who had any bad blood in particular.
“I think another option to play golf came up, and some guys felt like they wanted to play over there. They wanted to do something different. I think that’s absolutely fine.”
