Scottie Scheffler will be desperate to bounce back from a frustrating week at the US Open with a win at the Travelers Championship.
Scheffler still managed to finish inside the top 10 at the US Open, despite not having anywhere near his best stuff.
However, he looked far more like his old self during his final round on Sunday, and his game should now be in pretty good shape heading into the Travelers Championship.
Scheffler warmed up for the tournament this week by playing the Pro-Am at TPC River Highlands on Wednesday.

After playing the Pro-Am on Wednesday, Scheffler said it’s interesting watching amateur golfers play a course that has been set up by the PGA Tour.
What Scottie Scheffler shot during practice round at the Travelers Championship
Scheffler will be desperate to make it four wins from 14 starts at TPC River Highlands this week.
He is the defending champion, so the golf course obviously suits him nicely.
His game looked to be in fine fettle on Wednesday.
During the nine holes that he played, he didn’t miss a single fairway, and hit seven out of nine greens in regulation.

Scheffler’s game certainly seems to be shaping up nicely for his title defence in Cromwell, Connecticut, this week.
Take a look at the video below showing him in action on the course on Wednesday:
A nice solid two-under par for Scheffler then, and he really couldn’t have made that look any easier if he tried.
How Scottie Scheffler reacted to Brian Rolapp news
Scheffler addressed the media at TPC River Highlands on Wednesday.
And he responded when asked to give his opinion on the PGA Tour’s incoming new CEO Brian Rolapp.
The three-time major winner said, “What do I hope to see? I think it’s exciting to have some new leadership. I think Brian will bring some good energy. Literally the first time I heard him speak was yesterday, so I really don’t know much about him. I liked what I heard yesterday.
“I think our board and Jay and everybody put a lot of research into finding his successor, and to be able to get somebody from the NFL, especially somebody high up at the NFL, I think is pretty cool. The NFL is obviously a very successful organization. He’s got a lot of experience and some new thought processes he can bring to the TOUR, and I think it’s exciting.“
The appointment of Rolapp definitely feels like a step in the right direction. The PGA Tour has needed some fresh, innovative thinking at the top of the chain for a while now.
And hopefully Rolapp is the man to bring that to the table.
