The PGA Tour have just announced a new Signature Event for 2026 with next year’s schedule confirmed

The PGA Tour is already looking ahead to another season, with the schedule for 2026 now confirmed.

This season’s PGA Tour continues this week at East Lake, where the top 30 players are competing for the Tour Championship title.

BMW Championship winner Scottie Scheffler won the event last time out, and currently occupies first place in the FedExCup Standings.

He’s followed by Rory McIlroy and J.J. Spaun in second and third respectively, with all three players in the field for this week’s Tour Championship.

But the trio and their fellow PGA Tour players will also be keen to check in on what 2026 has in store, with an update now going their way.

New PGA Tour Signature Event confirmed for 2026

And one big change to the calendar all the players involved next year will experience is a new Signature Event.

The Miami Championship has been awarded Signature Event status, with the tournament set to take place on the Blue Monster course at Trump National Doral in Florida.

Scheduled for the end of April and start of May, the event is without a title sponsor at this moment in time.

What are the Signature Events on the PGA Tour in 2026?

The Miami Championship joins a long list of regular Signature Events for next season, beginning with The Sentry.

Also on the calendar are the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, The Genesis Invitational, the Arnold Palmer Invitational and the RBC Heritage.

And completing the list are the Truist Championship, the Memorial Tournament and the Travelers Championship.

Trump National Doral returns to the PGA Tour after an absence of almost 10 years, with the venue having welcomed LIV Golf action during that break.

And it certainly arrives in a key period in the calendar, scheduled for between The Masters and the PGA Championship.

They take place at Augusta National and Aronimink Golf Club respectively, with the US Open played at Shinnecock Hills and The Open Championship set for Royal Birkdale.
