In order to win, you will need to drive your ball long and straight off the tee, hit precise iron shots and putt very well on Muirfield’s speedy, undulating greens.
But will the golf course play even more difficult this year than it has done in recent years?
Michael Kim took to his social media account, as he always does before PGA Tour events, to update golf fans on the current condition of Muirfield Village.
Kim suggested that he noticed one big difference about the golf course during his practice round on Tuesday.
And then Kim named the hole which he believes will be impossible this week.
The 12th hole at Muirfield Village has always been a real challenge for the pros to navigate.
It’s almost a carbon copy of the 12th hole at Augusta National but just a longer version.

Scottie Scheffler is the red-hot favourite heading into the Memorial Tournament this week, and for good reason.
His game is ideal for the tough and unrelenting Muirfield Village layout.
Scheffler is ranked second this season in strokes gained off the tee, and first in strokes gained approach to the green and strokes gained total.
He is even inside the top 25 in strokes gained putting.
Even if Scheffler only brings his ‘B+’ game to Muirfield Village, he will most likely win the Memorial Tournament.
