Shane Lowry may have mixed emotions about his 2024 PGA Tour season, which came to an end at the Tour Championship.

The Irishman finished T9 at the Tour Championship, with Lowry having loved East Lake after making his debut at the Atlanta course.

Before that, Lowry had been having a mixed time in the FedExCup Playoffs, finishing T50 at the St Jude Championship and T13 at the BMW Championship.

Lowry doesn’t want to change the FedExCup format, which was won by Scottie Scheffler this time around.

The American dominated the 2024 PGA Tour season alongside compatriot and world number two Xander Schauffele.

Shane Lowry boasts incredible 2024 PGA Tour putting record

But Lowry does boast a very impressive record of his own for the year, even if he fell well short of the leading duo.

As per the PGA Tour on X, Lowry finished the 2024 PGA Tour season with 359 consecutive holes without a 3-putt.

Shane Lowry must improve elsewhere to enjoy strong 2025 season

Lowry can be extremely proud of his phenomenal effort on the green, with the Irishman certain to be eager to continue his streak into the new season.

Scheffler and Schauffele meanwhile will aim to continue their superb seasons at the Presidents Cup, which takes place in Montreal later this month.

They obviously impressed on the greens throughout the PGA Tour campaign, with their putting helping the pair clinch three of the four majors.

But Lowry’s putting also helped clinch silverware, with the former champion of The Open winning the Zurich Classic of New Orleans alongside Rory McIlroy.

The 37-year-old, who has three PGA Tour career wins to his name, must now focus on improving other areas of his game if he is to improve upon his seven top-10 finishes in 2024.
