Scottie Scheffler continues to smash records on the PGA Tour seemingly every single time he tees it up.

Scheffler was quite simply outstanding during the 2025 PGA Tour season, with five wins to his name including two major championships, a Signature Event and a FedEx Cup event.

The 29-year-old is playing in Napa Valley at the Procore Championship for the first time this week, looking to make it six wins in 2025.

Scheffler was the driving force behind the US Ryder Cup team playing in the Procore Championship, and that just goes to show the leadership role he has acquired.

The four-time major champion leads by example in every way, and he has certainly shown that this week in California with his remarkable professionalism and incredibly strong mindset.

Scheffler missed out on one PGA Tour record on day one of the Procore, when he failed to break 70 for the 22nd round in a row.

However, since his opening round of two-under par, the world number one has posted a 68 and a 64.

Now he’s on track to set a completely different record.

Scottie Scheffler could set new PGA Tour record on day four of the Procore Championship

Scheffler will, of course, have his heart set on winning the Procore Championship on Sunday.

He currently sits just two shots adrift of the leader, Ben Griffin.

However, he doesn’t even need to win in order to set a new PGA Tour record.

If Scheffler, who currently sits in third position at the Procore Championship, remains inside the top-eight after the final round in Napa finishes he will make PGA Tour history.

The world number one will overtake a record set by Ben Hogan in the early 1950s of 14 consecutive top-eight finishes, and what a stunning achievement that would be.

It would not only bear testament to Scheffler’s incredible consistency but his relentless excellence as well.

He surely won’t have too much trouble getting the job done at the Silverado Resort on Sunday.

There are three players currently tied for ninth place on nine-under par, so it would take quite an extraordinary turnaround for Scheffler to drop outside of the top eight, especially after the form he showed on day three in Napa.

Scottie Scheffler’s incredible PGA Tour run stretches back to March

Scheffler has not finished outside of the top eight on the PGA Tour for six months now, when he ended up in a tie for 20th at the Players Championship.

Here is his marvellous run in all its glory:

Scheffler continues to amaze every single time he plays in a PGA Tour event.

If Scheffler finishes inside the top-eight at the Procore Championship it will be a sign that we are all witnessing greatness right in front of our eyes.

Let’s face it, it would be a shock if he doesn’t win the golf tournament, let alone maintain his place inside the top-eight on the leaderboard.
