The United States won a tenth successive Presidents Cup after a pulsating four days of action at Royal Montreal Golf Club.

Jim Furyk’s side overcame a nightmare foursomes session on Friday to cruise to victory during Sunday’s singles.

2025 Ryder Cup captain Keegan Bradley landed the decisive point after beating Si Woo Kim on the 18th hole. Immediately after the close of play, Bradley claimed a similar 12-man USA team would be present at Bethpage.

Despite the success in Quebec, Bradley, Sahith Theegala and Russell Henley have new world rankings due to the DP World Tour’s Spanish Open running alongside the Presidents Cup. Here, The Golfing Gazette takes a look at the latest OWGR changes involving US players.

Sahith Theegala – 11th to 12th

Presidents Cup rookie Theegala halved his singles match with Byeong Hun An after struggling during the alternate shot format.

Regarding the world rankings, the American has dropped a spot to 12th after Englishman Tommy Fleetwood placed third at the Spanish Open.

Fleetwood jumped from 14th to 11th in the OWGR.

Keegan Bradley – 13th to 14th

Bradley was also impacted by the Spanish Open, with Jon Rahm jumping ahead of him in the current rankings.

LIV star Rahm made the playoff in Madrid only to lose to his compatriot Ángel Hidalgo in a playoff. Bradley, as a result, now sits 14th.

Russell Henley – 14th to 15th

Henley was the other US loser when it comes to the rankings, dropping a spot to 15th due to Rahm’s impressive performance.

It was a Presidents Cup week to remember for Henley, who impressed alongside world number one Scottie Scheffler in Montreal.

USA Presidents Cup stars to take time off during PGA Tour Fall

With the Presidents Cup coming at the conclusion of the PGA Tour season, most of the USA Team will now take time off until the eve of the 2025 season.

Tiger Woods’ Hero World Challenge will potentially be the next event where several big names congregate.

As a result, there will be movement in the OWGR, with the DP World Tour still running as usual ahead of the season finale in Dubai.
