Another 2025 PGA Tour event has now been and gone, with Russell Henley winning the Arnold Palmer Invitational in Florida.

Golf fans slammed the Arnold Palmer Invitational TV coverage after a crucial Henley moment was missed, as he overtook Collin Morikawa.

There was also golfing history made at the latest PGA Tour tournament, with Keegan Bradley shooting a record front-nine 29 at Bay Hill.

US Ryder Cup captain Bradley could only finish T5 on seven-under despite the record at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, level with Sepp Straka.

It was indeed Bradley’s fellow American Henley who emerged victorious, finishing one shot ahead of Morikawa on 11-under.

Canadian Corey Conners finished third at Bay Hill on nine-under, with American Michael Kim ending fourth on eight-under.

Henley has rightfully stolen the headlines in Florida, with the champion following in the footsteps of a handful of iconic figures through his success.

As per Justin Ray, he is now one of four players to win the Arnold Palmer Invitational while leading the field in strokes gained around the green.

Tiger Woods first achieved the feat in 2009, followed by Jason Day and Scottie Scheffler in 2016 and 2024 respectively.

It was another intriguing PGA Tour event to say the least, with Morikawa certain to be frustrated after losing his lead late on.

But Henley won’t care one bit, having fought to the very end at Bay Hill, with his chip-in eagle on the 16th proving crucial.

Having turned professional in 2011, the 35-year-old now has his first PGA Tour win of 2025, and first since 2022.

And it couldn’t have come at a better time, with The Players Championship returning to TPC Sawgrass this week.
