Who Rory McIlroy is playing with in round one of The Masters

Rory McIlroy tees off in his quest to finally win at Augusta in the afternoon groupings and he’s part of what should be a very exciting trio to watch.

McIlroy is alongside Ryder Cup teammate Ludvig Aberg, while America Akshay Bhatia will also join them.

For McIlroy, the speed of which both these young talents play might well help his game as he looks to finally start well and not have to play catch up.

Last year’s winner Scottie Scheffler goes out with Justin Thomas and amateur Spaniard, Jose Luis Ballester, while world number three Xander Schauffele will be alongside Adam Scott and Viktor Hovland.
