LIV Golf are looking to further expand their ranks and their number one cheerleader Phil Mickelson has jumped straight in with his own reaction to their potential new signings.
LIV are desperately looking to add new faces for the 2026 season.
In recent weeks, Si Woo Kim has been linked with a move to LIV but at the time, the PGA Tour star played down those suggestions.
How will history reflect on Phil Mickelson?
Golf's most polarising player?
However, the rumours haven’t fully gone away, with Kim once again linked this weekend.
Kim himself has played down the rumours again but not before six-time major champion and LIV’s own Phil Mickelson had the chance to have his say.

Along with Kim, Ben An is also being linked with a move as LIV look to expand into a franchise made up of stars from Korea.
It is a bold plan and there are suggestions that big money has been put on the table.

It does, in a way, make sense for LIV to push into this market and both Kim and An are two elite players from the region.
Indeed, it appears Mickelson agrees with that stance, as he replied to a post from ‘Flushing It’ about the rumours to give the deals his seal of approval.
Mickelson, as we all know, will generally support anything that is to the betterment of LIV Golf.
Quite whether this one happens, though, remains shrouded in mystery given Kim’s response.
Phil Mickelson is becoming LIV Golf’s number one ambassador
We all know that Mickelson is active on social media and he often gets involved in debates, both golf related and not.
However, there is – at times – an air of desperation in some of the posts he makes and it’s almost like he just cannot resist anything that is to do with LIV.
Sure, Kim and An would be smart signings for LIV but they aren’t going to change the game and mean LIV suddenly has more pull than the PGA Tour.
Which of these LIV Golf stars would you least like to see back on the PGA Tour?
Mickelson calling this move ‘awesome’ is a bit of a stretch really and the fact he’s getting involved on what is nothing more than rumour right now, seems to indicate he himself is trying to further drive those rumours into becoming reality.
Indeed, going into the future, it would be no surprise whatsoever to see Mickelson involved higher up in LIV, such is his continued outspoken nature.
