Tommy Fleetwood will be waking up this morning thinking what on earth he has got to do to get a win on the PGA Tour.
Fleetwood played exceptionally good golf throughout the first three days of the Travelers Championship.
The Englishman put on a ball-striking clinic, especially during round three at TPC River Highlands, and he actually putted solidly all week as well.
Fleetwood said he was ‘gutted’ after Keegan Bradley won the Travelers Championship, and this one will undoubtedly take him a while to get over.
That’s 159 PGA Tour starts without a win now for the Englishman.
The 34-year-old’s driving, approach play and putting all let him down on the final day at the Travelers.

Those are some pretty poor numbers considering the tournament consisted of a field of less than 70 players.
That missed putt from six feet on the final hole will haunt Fleetwood for quite some time. However, it has been suggested that the missed putt wasn’t entirely his fault.

Kip Henley has caddied for numerous big names in the past, including the likes of Vijay Singh, J.B. Holmes and Stewart Cink.
He’s currently on the bag of Scott Gutschewski, but is probably best known for his ever-growing presence on social media.
Henley often shares the inside scoop on what happens on the PGA Tour behind the scenes.
He is obviously very knowledgeable about the game as well.
The PGA Tour caddie took to his official X account, and shared the reason why he thinks Fleetwood really missed his six-foot putt on the 18th hole at TPC River Highlands on Sunday.
He said: “Hey Tommy Fleetwood! I know it hurts but this should make you feel some better. I know KB is a tiny bit more down the hill and straighter but your putt 100% hits a ball mark and dives dead right. You both hit the same putt within a 1/4 of a ball at least.
“If my players ever bring me in on a read and I see a pitch mark that is uneven and real close to the line I always ask them to lift it up to smooth. If I know it’s out of the line but close I pray they never lift it. Tommy seemed rushed there so he may not have seen it.
“KB definitely started it up the hill a tiny bit more but Tommy’s putt still goes in easy without that bounce. If Tommy’s goes in right center who’s to say KB’s doesn’t miss low as well.
“The bad bounce may have added to KB’s read. Which was perfect.“
Henley then clarified his comments further after some golf fans disagreed with his opinion on the matter.
He explained: “I NEVER said KB didn’t start his putt higher but with that camera angle we get to see more of his starting line than Tommy’s. Having said that! With all my heart Tommy’s putt goes in or catches a huge part of the hole without hitting that ball mark and diving right.“
What Tommy Fleetwood said about Keegan Bradley after the Travelers
On Sunday, Fleetwood posted some really poor numbers in three specific key categories.
That enabled U.S. Ryder Cup captain Bradley to sneak up on him and pip him to the title.
After the round, Fleetwood responded when asked about Bradley’s impressive finish at TPC River Highlands.
He said: “It was the worst way it could go but Keegan did great down that closing stretch. He holed the putts, hit great shots. Gutted, really. We will just go home and start practicing again. The tournaments start again in a bit.”
Fleetwood will feel as low as can be right now after he wasted his best chance yet to win a PGA Tour event at the Travelers Championship.
Hopefully he bounces back and wins a big event soon, because he’s just too good not to have lifted a trophy in America.
